Declaration of Independence of Diaspora

When, in the course of human events, you just can’t take this *** anymore, it really does become necessary to dissolve the political bands that tie us to the tragic and deadly fate of independent nation-states, and to declare the independence of something completely different—let’s call it Diaspora. Some of us are tired of what Israel does in the name of defending its nation-state. Some of us are tired of what the Czech Republic does in the name of defending nation-states. Most of us are tired of being told, “This is where you belong, and nowhere else.” Let’s talk seriously about Israel, Palestine, the Czech Republic, and the meaning of diasporic politics everywhere.
