Screening | Diary of a Sky
DIARY OF A SKY records the invisible militarization and violence taking place in the sky above the Lebanese capital Beirut, by tracking noise levels and their sources, as well as their impact on people’s daily lives. The film, using various footage from throughout the year 2020 as well as text and voice overs, documents Beirut’s sky as a backdrop of the political and military tensions taking place above and around the city, including Israeli surveillance planes, the humming of generators, and the Beirut port explosion.
