Today, we maintain asymmetrical relationships with the past before 1989. The exhibition shows the role that historians play in the public sphere in interpreting the history of the Czechoslovak state socialism. The telling of the past is subject to the structure of narrative, but the question is to what extent we allow ourselves to be influenced by its construction.
